She is dressed up as Dearg Due
- an irish demon ("vampire") who secude men and suck their blood.
According to the legend, hundreds years ago a girl who was known for her beauty all over the country fell in love with a peasant.
Her Dad found it unacceptable, and he forced her to marry a rich man who treated her terribly.She couldn't take the misery anymore so she committed suicide.Since that she rises from her grave every year to take revenge on her dad, husband and on the male gender for her sufferings.
